About Me

Trey Browder, LCSW

Trey Browder, MSW, LCSW is a lifelong Memphian who brings a diverse set of skills and experience from a variety of professional fields to his counseling practice. Before coming to the field of counseling, Trey worked in marketing, sales training, instructional design, and executive coaching. These experiences have provided him with a unique depth of insight which he brings to his counseling work.

Trey has years of experience in the field of substance abuse, working with individuals and families struggling with alcoholism and addiction. He has worked in all levels of care, including initial assessment and intervention, crisis management, residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, individual therapy, family and couples counseling, and relapse prevention.

Trey specializes in the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which incorporates values, mindfulness, and cognitive defusion, in order to help clients move towards what's most important to them. He utilizes a person-centered approach to therapy that incorporates elements of CBT, Mindfulness Based CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and others to provide an eclectic and flexible approach that meets each client where they are in their healing process.

Trey provides both in-person and telehealth counseling services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
